The Loire Valley mill producing exclusively for craft bakers
This mill on the banks of the river Cher, near Tours, was built in 1520. Its oldest parts have been listed as heritage buildings since 2005, meaning it is a place which is rich in history and savoir-faire.
The mill has been working closely with the Terrena farming cooperative for 20 years now and supplies many local craft bakers.
The Grand Moulin de Ballan mill is devoted to sharing its passion for milling. In close association with the milling school ENSMIC in Surgères (Charente-Maritime), the mill provides technical and sales training designed to assist bakery shops in their everyday tasks.
